Premium Mail Promotion Terms & Conditions

Who are the Recipients?

Recipients are individuals (or individuals representing other individuals) who collect and submit four coupons to Marathon Foods. Recipients must reside in Australia.

What is a Premium Mail Promotion?

A Premium Mail Promotion is tangible compensation that is given as an incentive for performing a particular act usually buying a product (“the premium”). The premium may be given for free or may be offered to Recipients for a significantly reduced price. Mail premiums require Recipients to perform some act in order to obtain a premium through return mail.

Who can receive the gifts?
Recipients must residents of Australia. Where a Recipient is under the age of 18 years, the parents or guardians will be responsible for receiving the gifts.

How to Enter
Recipients need to cut out four coupons from Marathon Foods Puffy Dogs ® packages and send them to our address at 51-53 Hobsons Road, Kensington VIC 3031. 

When to Enter

Recipients must post their four coupons they have collected to Marathon at any time.

The Gifts
The Gifts are usually Children’s activity books, colouring books and reading books as selected by Marathon.   

Number of Entries Permitted
Recipients can post their four coupons to Marathon as many times as they elect. Gifts are only available while stocks last.  

Terms and Conditions

  1. The Gifts are valued at approximately $2-$5 each.
  2. The Gifts are offered by Marathon Food Industries Proprietary Limited ABN 80 004 763 777 (“Marathon”).
  3. The Gifts are available for use for Australian residents.
  4. The Gifts are not exchangeable for cash or other forms of credit and no refunds will be issued for the value of the Gifts if damaged during postage and transit. All costs incurred by the Recipient including posting the four required coupons are the responsibility of the Recipient.
  5. There is no set expiry or set end date for Gifts to be sent out to Recipients. This will be at the discretion of Marathon or while stocks last.  
  6. Marathon will announce on its website and post across its social media platforms when stocks have run out and can therefore no longer send out Gifts to Recipients.
  7. The Gifts will be deemed sent upon the completion of posting from Marathon’s premises.
  8. The Gifts will not be refunded or replaced in the event that a Recipient changes their mind, has no use for them or for any other reason.
  9. The Gifts are not transferable, exchangeable, replaceable, refundable for cash, credit or for any other product that Marathon sells.
  10. The terms and conditions of this Premium Mail Promotion are as written and cannot be changed by any representation of any unauthorised person, including employees of Marathon.

  12. Marathon reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without notice and at any stage during the Premium Mail Promotion of the gifts.                                       
  13. Recipients names and addresses are collected and required by Marathon for posting the gifts. Marathon collects and stores such information about Recipients in accordance with its Privacy Policy which can be reviewed on Marathon’s website. For clarity, Marathon will not be collecting information that is defined as sensitive information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

General Terms and Conditions

  1. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limit, exclude or modify or purports to limit, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), as well as any other implied warranties under the Australian and Securities Act (Cth) or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Marathon (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of this offer.
  2. Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, Marathon (including its respective officers, employees and agents) is not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under Marathon’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or Gifts claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by Marathon) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of Marathon; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by a Recipient; or (f) use of the gifts.
  3. Marathon collects Recipient’s personal information in order to conduct the offer. If the information requested is not provided, the claimant/entrant may not be able to participate in the Premium Mail Promotion. Marathon will not disclose this information to anyone other than contractors who provide services to Marathon for the purposes of conducting this Premium Mail Promotion unless compelled or permitted by law. Recipient’s personal information may be disclosed to State and Territory lottery departments and winners’ names published as required under the relevant lottery legislation. As per the relevant Privacy Legislation, a request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Marathon Human Resources Officer.
